Update

Vienna broke her fever on Thursday morning. Much to my relief, a little rash is now covering her body. Our suspicions were confirmed, roseola. I feel so blessed to see her wave at me with one hand and yell dadadadddaaa at the top of her lungs. Thank you for all your prayers and concern. On a different note, I will mention a much needed prayer request concerning the state of my father. He had to be rushed to the hospital on Tuesday because he was complaining of a severe pain in his leg.The doctors discovered a large clot in his leg. It was later discovered through numerous tests that the clot in his leg broke off and traveled to his lung. Please keep him in your prayers as he will be recovering in the hospital till his pt levels are normal. Once the pt levels stabilize he will be sent home with bed rest and medication. This week has been very crazy for me. Sleepless nights and worries that only God can calm. Through all the chaos i have managed to get homeschooling done quite early every morning. At the end of our week I can proudly say Ethan's handwriting is legible. I did a comprehensive review of the year for Samuel.

Baby, what i would give to see you well!

We just returned home from our trip to Miami. We made the trip in two days. We stayed the night at my cousins house on Saturday. The trip was very difficult. Vienna- is very sick and has a constant high fever. Traveling on an airplane, with a baby that has a 103 fever is scary. I was so anxious to get home and get to my Doctor. Her fever started low on Saturday morning and spiked to 104 Saturday night. Alina, THANK YOU!! Alina helped me through the night and calmed my panic. I get so freaked out when my children are sick. I hate it. I found myself in the bathtub fully dressed, with Vienna in arms- trying to lower a temperature of 104.5. She shook in the lukewarm water and her little face was scared at the sudden burst of my actions. What else could I do? I called my doctor and he agreed to see her as soon as we landed on Sunday. With a dose of Tylenol and Advil her fever came down only to greet me again as soon as the medicine wore out. The doctor started her on antibiotics and a round the clock dose of Tylenol and Motrin. He suspects roseola, but only time will tell when her fever breaks and the rash appears. I felt such relief to see my husband waiting for me at the gate. Such relief to be in my home and taking care of my Vienna. The boys didn't understand what was going on and their actions confirmed it. I would say come and they would say go. I would say no and they would say yes. But i can't expect them to grasp the seriousness of the situation when they were just ecstatic about flying. My mind was not on the clouds that looked like animals or all the candy the terminal displayed or even the gate area (racetracks) that was filled with spectators. I look back and wish i had demonstrated a little more patience. My boys are just as happy to be home as i am. As soon as we arrived, they raced up to their room and started playing with their toys. The trip was so wonderful. I relished every moment i had with my family. I took a lot of pictures to document my trip and enjoyed the use of my new camera. Right now, I just can't wait till her fever breaks and she is back to her active self again. The beautiful little girl whose smile shines so bright. Even now, feeling horrible, she still smiles because her personality is such. Please keep her in your prayers.
