The boy who loved to eat dog food: A story by Samuel Allen Campbell

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Noshock. He loved to eat everyone else's food. His favorite food was dog food. One day he was playing in the jungle when he saw a little dinosaur playing by the water. The little dinosaur's name was Shockno. Noshock had been so busy playing all day that he forgot to eat. Noshock was so hungry that when he saw Shockno, he ate him. Shockno had looked like a big doggy treat to Noshock. Noshock was still hungry and when he looked to the side, there was a nest full of small little flying dinosaurs. He ate them too (especially since they looked like juicey little doggytreats). He wobbled home as best as he could with his big, big, big, very very big tummy. When he arrived home his Mom and Dad told him that he looked like he ate a big Beaver, and that he needed to stop eating so many berries. But we all know that Noshock didn't like berries. He liked Dog food. Sadly, he would go out in the forest everyday after school and look for doggy treats. So animals of the forest beware when you see Noshock for he might think you are dog food.

I was wanting to post Samuel's story sooner, but Ethan had a little bug all weekend and needed to be cuddled. When Ethan is sick all he wants to do is watch Thomas and sleep. Since Ethan was sick Sam lacked a cheering section at his games this weekend. Sam had to endure freezing temperatures on saturday's game, and a constant flow of flurries flowing strong and vertical. Sam loves to come home and act out the exciting events that occurred during the game. On a different note, Animal planet had a very sad story to tell. The show featured this puppy who was trying to survive after the owner had left him tied to a pole outside for many weeks. The poor puppy had now grown, and his small colar no longer fit his neck. The colar managed to dig its way in the neck of the dog a whole 2 inches. I was delighted to see that the owner of this dog recieved a $5,000 dollar fine and 7 months of community service for animal cruelty. Poor puppy died a few weeks later nothing but skin and bone. Let me turn a corner and say that I have 3 printers and none of them work. Each one has its own specific problem and I am tired of seeing blank paper shoot through the printers. I had to write this because as I am blogging I am surrounded by these printers. I feel as though they are working together against me. Well, on a happier note, I decided last night to make mini chocolate cakes, and they were so good the boys ate two by themselves.
Thought of the day:
"O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise unto the rock of our salvation"
( Psalm 95:1).

- The pictures of Ethan and Samuel are not new one's, but since they are so cute I had to share them on my blog anyway.

Our favorite cartoon

Sam loves drawing pictures for Ethan and Sangu. His latest rendition is of the infamous Spongebob and Patrick cartoon, which he did on Adobe Illustrator. Sitting by his side with his magnadoodle was Samuel drawing Spongebob in bikini bottom just like Dad. If you have never seen a Spongebob cartoon you are missing out. You know you like Spongebob if while watching Spongebob your kids get interested in playing something else and your sitting there still watching Spongebob. I think that since having kids you are delightfully thrown into a cartoon world. Which is why when we play "Disney Scene It" as a family Sam and I throughly enjoy competeing to the death. More pictures to come..

On a different note, I decided to make breakfast fun today so I made - dark purple blueberry pancakes for breakfast. I think that just the color made them a hit since Samuel Allen ate about four by himself. Sam has 7 baseball games to umpire this weekend and we are so looking forward to joining in the fun. As bizarre as it may sound I think Umpires are intitled to a cheering section of their own.

Question of the day for Ethan:
Ethan, who do you like to cuddle most of all? ....Daddy, Mommy, and Samuel.
Ethan, Who do you like to play with most of all? ... Daddy, Mommy and Samuel.
Ethan, Who do you love most of all? .....Daddy, Mommy, Samuel, and Thomas.

March 21,06 My First Blog

I just finished some reading with Samuel Allen and thought i would give it a try to create my blog. I am so excited to be blogging. Many of my family members have blogs and I am so delighted to read and see pictures of what goes on in their day. I feel it will be like an open journal that many loved ones can take a part in sharing your daily adventures ( Seeing that so many of my family members are hundreds of miles away). So I am first going to put up pictures of my best buddies in the whole wide world.. Samuel and Ethan were frosting a welcome home cake for Dad. If there is one thing that my buddies know how to do best is "CUDDLE."
The nightly routine is : 1. Samuel in his bed 2. Ethan in his bed 3. In the middle of the night Samuel goes to Ethan’s bed 4. Then around the wee hours of the morning all four of us seem to be in the same queen size bed cuddling. These little buddies without a doubt do everything together. Samuel is reading wonderfully and loves to sit with Ethan and read to him about Clifford the big red dog. Ethan is a goofball and goes around the house calling everybody a silly bobobo. Last night at supper Ethan had yet to take a bite of his food. Samuel then noticing this says, " Dad that is just out of control." Then Ethan replies," Dad I can't eat this, this food is making me crazy." I think our laughter could be heard several houses down.
