Onward, to the hospital we go. Last night, we were all excited to see Mollie and the cousins. They had been in Illinois for a few weeks visiting family. The original plan was a Sweet onion burger cookout, but the rain started to come down relentlessly. It Showed no mercy to our guests as they arrived at our house drenched. I decided to go to plan B. I fired up the George Foreman , which worked wonderfully. As the burgers were sizzling (saying goodbye to the fat that drooped onto the catch plate) a little cry was heard upstairs. As the boys were heading upstairs one of my picture frames fell. The picture left Ethan with a bruise under his eye and a cut on his forehead. Mollie watched Samuel as i headed in the pouring rain with Ethan & Vienna to the hospital. I was glad to see that the hospital room was empty except for another couple . I soon found out even if there was a handful of patients waiting in the ER my wait wouldn't be any shorter. We arrived around 7:00pm and i walked in the door to my house at about 10:30 pm. Ethan received 2 stitches. He tried to tear them off this morning because he claims they were too itchy. I stopped him scratching before that scene ended up badly. I got home just in time to watch the end of the NBA game, but my eyelids would not stay open. Sam had to recall the final happening of the game to me this morning. I wish Cleveland would have won. They can only blame themselves for horribly managing the fourth quarter.
Vienna is currently battling it out with her dolly in the playpen. She loves to smother the dolly and slobber her hands. The dolly is untouchable after Vienna has had some play time with her. She loves to hold the dolly between her feet and launch her. It truly is an adorable sight.
Today for lunch i made spaghetti's with homemade sauce. The boys loved it. The extra garlic gave it a fantastic taste.
Well, I am on the tread mill. I am blogging to pass the time. I would watch TV,but i feel that would be too chaotic right now. The TV tends to create unnecessary chatter at times. Sometimes there is nothing sweeter than just relaxing in a still quiet room. Tonight we will attempt to meet again with Mollie and the kids. Hopefully, no one will get hurt, and the kids will have a great time playing together. On the menu tonight: PIZZA!!
Did i mention amidst all the happenings of last night my car gave me a hard time starting. Yes, It was an adventurous evening.
